Environmental Leadership Internship 2012
Earn valuable environmental stewardship and project management experience while spending time outside improving your outdoor leadership skills with this fun, nontraditional internship! RMFI’s Environmental Leadership Internship gives motivated students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience co-leading field-based trail and restoration projects throughout the Pikes Peak Region. Student interns play a dynamic and integral role in the planning and implementation of RMFI’s volunteer stewardship projects.

We always looking for qualified field instructors. Field instructors supervise and instruct volunteers and students in trail and restoration techniques. Schedules vary depending on the season. Field instructor can expect to work 1-2 days a week (primarily weekends) during the spring and fall seasons, with occasional work during the summer. Females are strongly encouraged to apply. Previous experience in trailwork, restoration, or outdoor education a plus. Must have wilderness medicine certification. Interested and qualified candidates can submit a cover letter and resume to the office.
