Are you looking for a community volunteer opportunity? Look for any dates on the calendar in Green, these days are open to all in our community to come and join RMFI on a stewardship project.

To read more about volunteering with RMFI see our Learn About Volunteering page or contact our Community Engagement Coordinator. Most opportunities are suited for those 11 years of age and older; some days may have higher age restrictions due to activity and location. Please see individual days for minimum age requirements.

Check back often as our calendar will continue to fill with Community Volunteer Workdays, Courses, and Special Events throughout the year! Schedule is subject to change. We ask volunteers be committed to attending the full duration of the workdays for which they register. If plans change, please let us know as soon as possible, we plan our work tasks, tools, and staffing based on expected group size.

RMFI wants to recognize all of our hard-working volunteers, so in 2024, we will begin our RMFI Stewardship Champion program to thank our volunteers who come back year after year to help further RMFI's mission and give back to our public lands through volunteerism!

How do YOU become a RMFI Stewardship Champion:

-Volunteer with RMFI 10 times!

-We will recognize all of our Stewardship Champions at the end of each RMFI season at our annual ShinDIG with a customized gift!

* The 10+ volunteer days can be completed over multiple years, and any volunteer work with RMFI from 2020 onward will count towards your total. If you have any questions, please contact our Community Engagement Coordinator, Calla, at calla@rmfi.org.

What if you complete 3 or more Volunteer days in one year?

RMFI Rockstar Volunteers!

Every year RMFI recognizes our volunteers who volunteer 3 or more times in one year! We will recognize all of our Rockstar Volunteers at the end of each RMFI season at our annual ShinDIG and receive a discount ticket to our annual end-of-year celebration and fundraiser! From these Rockstar Volunteers, the RMFI staff select one 'Volunteer of the Year' who rocked our season!

* The 3+ volunteer days must be completed in one RMFI season; these volunteer days will count towards you earning your Stewardship Champion award. If you have any questions, please contact our Community Engagement Coordinator, Calla, at calla@rmfi.org.
