Community Volunteer Stewardship Program

RMFI runs hundreds of project workdays annually mobilizing thousands of volunteers each year in the healing and restoration of public lands throughout Southern Colorado, with an emphasis on the Pikes Peak region. This program provides stewardship opportunities for a variety of people ranging in age and skill level, including schools, universities, military groups, religious and civic organizations, and dedicated individuals.

Conservation and Youth Work Corps

RMFI partners with various Conservation and Youth Work Corps organizations to educate and provide technical training to the next generation of environmental stewards

RMFI Stewardship Team

RMFI employs a professional field staff technically trained in trail and restoration techniques. Our crews work almost year-round and can often be found maintaining the trails and natural areas of our local parks and open spaces whether working with volunteers, conservation corps members, or just out on their own.
