Finishing work on the Dixon Trail. 

Join RMFI for a day of trail finishing and touch up the Dixon Trail. The highly anticipated Dixon Trail, the route to the summit of Cheyenne Mountain, was opened to the public last year although some segments of the mid-mountain portion were left unfinished. Please join us for a strenuous but highly rewarding day of hiking and trail work about halfway up the mountain.

We will carpool to an access point and hike a couple of steep miles up the lower Dixon to reach the mid-mountain stretch of trail needing work. Tasks will include corridor clearance and construction of trail features such as steps and retaining walls on the middle of the Dixon Trail. 

This is a strenuous full workday recommended to volunteers in good physical condition.
