Our project will focus on the reclamation of two former trail segments that lie across the site of the old landfill area of Red Rock Canyon Open Space. Work will involve breaking up hardened soils, seeding, transplanting, mulching, and other necessary tasks with the goal of keeping trail users on the sustainable and safer areas of the open space. 

Project work will run from 8:00am to 12:00pm. For this special Earth Day workday, a complimentary volunteer lunch and interpretive hikes will be offered at the conclusion of the project!
